ATA Martial Arts at BGC of Mercer County

ATA Martial Arts is a leadership training program

held at the Boys and Girls Club of  Mercer County.

ATA Martial Arts is not about just teaching martial arts and self defense, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student. Individual attention is a feature of each and every class, allowing all students to progress quickly and confidently toward their personal goals.

Our instructors take their responsibility seriously as role models for younger students, teaching them the importance of strong character, leadership, and good values.

Master Instructor Susan R. Winter is a 6th degree Black Belt with over 20 years of experience. Chief Instructor Alex Arce is a 2nd degree black belt, with over 10 years of martial arts training.  You can learn more about our family of schools and our other instructors at the Princeton Martial Arts Center site. We offer self-defense, Taekwondo, fitness classes, weapons training, extreme martial arts and more.

The Boys and Girls Club of  Mercer County is located 1040 Spruce Street in Lawrence.  The Spruce Street facility includes a gymnasium, game room, STEM center, computer room, library, teen center, classrooms, and offices. The ATA leadership program is just one way they fulfill their mission of enabling young people in a positive manner.
