Michelle Zimmerman, Instructor

“I was a student here starting at age 10 and worked my way up to a 4th degree Black Belt.  I am now a Certified Instructor,”

-Michelle Zimmerman

At least three times a week (homework permitting) my mom drives me 30 minutes away to Princeton ATA.  I have achieved my second degree black belt in Taekwondo (working on my third degree), first degree in Haidong Gumdo (Korean art of swords), enrolled in the leadership program and made some great friends.  Why Princeton ATA?  That’s easy.  The instructors are knowledgeable and fun and work with you to get you to be the best that you can be.  The extra seminars (included in the leadership program) let you focus on specialties and help sharpen your skills.

Dylan Chow, second degree black belt, Certified Trainee Instructor

“The best part of the Princeton Marital Arts Center’s Taekwondo program is that it teaches the whole child. The students are seen beyond their particular skill level and they keep in mind their self esteem and enjoyment”
-Donna Rubin MA, OTR Occupational Therapist

ATA has been a great experience for my daughter.  The emphasis on developing diverse life skills helped her foster confidence and self esteem.  It spilled over to other aspects of her life including social and educational.  It was the type of growth I don’t believe she would have found anywhere else.
