At the ATA Black Belt Academy, we are not interested in just teaching self defense, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student. Individual attention is a feature of each and every class, allowing all students to progress quickly and confidently toward their personal goals. Our instructors take their responsibility seriously as role models for younger students, teaching them the importance of strong character, leadership and good values.

2. Great, Experienced Instructors
Our instructors include several 3rd-degree Black Belts, a fourth degree and one fifth-degree Black Belt, which requires a commitment of at least 15 years. Our Chief Instructor Miss Winter also has a Masters Degree in Social Work and has been teaching in Princeton for over 12 years.

We’re conveniently located in Princeton near Princeton Avenue and Cherry Valley Road on Route 206. Use 830 State Road for GPS directions.
There are several different kinds of martial arts taught at our location: Taekwondo, Protech Weapons, Self-Defense, Special Abilities, Kendo, Haidong Gumdo, and Aikikai Aikido.
5. Flexible Schedules For All Ages and Abilities
We have classes every day of the week except Sunday. We also offer programs for kids as young as 3, pre-teens, teens, and adults. We also have a program solely devoted to those with special abilities.
6. Fun and Friends
We have a really fun picnic and water balloon fight every year, and many students are friends outside the dojo. We even saw Karate Kid together this year.
